Peter Sabellico


Peter Sabellico’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation. His practice includes defending premises liability cases, motor vehicle accidents, municipal liability cases, wrongful death claims, as well as representing insurance companies in coverage disputes. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a legal research clerk for the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court, where he was based in the Judicial District of Waterbury.

Notable Decisions/Cases

  • Terbrusch v. City of Danbury, Judicial district of Waterbury, Docket No. CV19-6051794S-S (January 5, 2021). Motion for summary judgment granted in favor of City of Danbury in wrongful death case where plaintiff’s decedent perished in plane crash after departing the premises of Danbury’s municipal airport. Summary judgment was granted in City’s favor, both because no duty existed, as well as on basis of municipal immunity.
  • Macknight v. RD America, LLC, Judicial District of Fairfield, Docket No. CV196087714-S (March 9, 2020). Motion to dismiss granted in favor of out-of-state business as locus-of-injury occurred outside of Connecticut, and minimum contacts requirement of due process was not satisfied.
