Conway Stoughton is pleased to report that its team recently obtained another jury trial defense verdict on behalf of a firm client. Attorney Chris Williams successfully defended a client against a premises liability claim arising from an incident which took place at the client’s commercial premises. With respect to his damages claim, the plaintiff claimed permanent injuries which caused him to lose wages and adversely impact his future earning capacity. Despite these permanent damages claims, the jury ultimately did not reach the issue of damages and, instead, agreed with Attorney Williams’ argument that his client was not responsible for the incident which caused the plaintiff’s damages.
