Raymond Gauvreau’s practice focuses primarily on defending insurance companies and their insureds. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a legal research law clerk for the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court where he was based in the Judicial District of Litchfield at Torrington. During law school, Attorney Gauvreau interned at Greater Hartford Legal Aid and was a law clerk for a law firm specializing in appellate practice. Also during law school, Attorney Gauvreau successfully mediated employment discrimination cases to settlement on behalf of the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights. Additionally, Attorney Gauvreau has had the unique experience of serving as the foreperson on a civil jury in the Judicial District of Hartford while clerking for the Superior Court.
