We represent purchasers, sellers and lenders in all aspects of residential transactions, including purchases, sales, refinances, leasing and construction. Transactions include single family homes, multi-family homes, condominiums, second homes, investment properties and mixed-use properties. Our practice is knowledgeable with the different real estate customs of all counties throughout Connecticut.

Our real estate practice has decades of experience in commercial real estate. We can assist in structuring and implementing all facets of real property development and acquisition. We represent business entities, developers, lenders and investors throughout Connecticut.

We handle all aspects of landlord-tenant law including eviction actions and lease disputes.

It is important to have a lease that is understandable, enforceable and specific to the client’s needs. We provide services for both the landlord or tenant in commercial and residential leases.

Land Use

We represent individuals and businesses navigating land use regulations and statutes, counseling landowners, developers and other interested parties in the municipal application process. We represent clients in municipal hearings and administrative appeals. Because our land use attorneys are also litigators, they are well versed in related civil actions. In addition to municipal matters, we represent clients in civil actions between neighbors, actions involving the use of a shared parcel of land and actions brought on behalf of the public.
