Joshua S. Chapps

Principal

Joshua Chapps joined Conway Stoughton in 2006.  He is a litigator, concentrating his practice on insurance matters in the civil and workers’ compensation forums, including first and third party coverage disputes, workers’ compensation coverage and compensability matters, and insurance premium recovery.  He has tried many cases before the state courts, workers’ compensation commission, private arbitrators, as well as successfully defended appeals.  Recently, Attorney Chapps was involved in two appellate decisions that produced significant results for insurance carriers as they relate to premium recovery.   In addition, Attorney Chapps heads up Conway Stoughton’s workers’ compensation practice.  His field experience in commercial construction prior to practicing law has proved invaluable for the scenarios unique to the workers’ compensation forum as well as first party property coverage disputes.
